DINNER: Schnapper, cooked whole on BBQ, with salad.
Today I started cooking various Tapas foods for a Spanish party we're having tomorrow. I don't seem to have any photos of the foods. I'll check the other camera later!
TAPAS MENU: Sangria, meat balls in sherry sauce, chicken and chick peas in spicy tomato sauce, goat cheese with tarragon and garlic marinade, figs with walnut and honey, veal sausages in white wine.

LUNCH: Pizza with thin slices of left-over pork ribs, caramelised red onions, spicy tomato sauce, olives, grated cheese...top with dollop of sour cream.
I went to Goonellabah to babysit, so didn't cook dinner. Dave cooked himself some fried rice
The next night for dinnner, I cooked rissoles with potato, kumara and broccoli.
MAINLY MUSIC: 6 cup slice with dates, walnuts and coffee icing.

MAINLY MUSIC: 6 cup slice...1 cup each of SR flour, cocnut, sugar, milk, dried apricots and walnuts, plus cinnamon.
DINNER: Warm new potato salad with silverside.
Wash new potatoes, cut into cubes, leave skin on...boil with cubed carrot until tender...chop mint, chives, capsicum, shallots, sun-dried tomatoes, cold silverside...put cooked and chopped ingredients into bowl, add mayonnaise and mix.

Today was Jill's birthday, so we went to the Ulmarra pub for her party. I had chicken in filo with blue cheese and artichoke sauce and salad. Dave had Moroccan lamb cutlets with cous cous.
The next day we went to Jill and Manfred's where we had pizza from his pizza oven...we took our own toppings.
After the pizza, we had vegetable soup for tea....pumpkin, zucchini, carrot, onion, plus salt, pepper and butter.
As I didn't have any photos of food here, I thought I'd put in a photo of the frog that has been seen regularly in the kitchen late at night... cute, isn't it!

Today was Jacaranda Thursday in Grafton, so we had lunch at Roches' pub- German Beerfest- kransky and mash with mushrooms and tomatoes. It was pretty filling, but quite delicious.
DINNER: After the big lunch, we had bread rolls with left-over silverside, cheese and lettuce.
The next day, being Friday, the fish man was in town, so we bought some Samson fish and prawns....cooked it with creamy garlic/mushroom sauce, and served with rice, cucumber and avocado.

Day 103
Today we drove to Nambucca Heads with our camper (Rosie), to see the Sydney Travelling Film Festival at Bowraville. When we arrived we went to Woollies and bought an assortment of anti-pasto foods while there.
LUNCH: pork brawn, cheese and lettuce sandwiches.
DINNER: in the car at Bowraville just before the first movie...pork pies and salad. We had wine and nibblies at the theatre between movies.

MAINLY MUSIC: Florentines...double quantity, some for Mainly Music and some for home....4 cups cornflakes (wholemeal), 1 pk glace cherrries, 1 pk glace ginger, 1 pk slithered almonds,1 can condensed milk, 1 cup chopped apricots. Bake about 10 mins at 190c.
DINNER: Greek lamb in BBQ with roasted Mediterranean vegetables.

DINNER: Chicken rolls with spinach and pine nuts. I used frozen flakey pastry for this. Into the chicken mince I put chopped spinach leaves that were chopped and wilted in hot water, coriander, parsley, finely chopped onion, salt and pepper. Before baking, the rolls were slashed on the top and brushed with beaten egg and sprinkled with parmesan cheese.

Today we went to the movies at Yamba, and had our own mini film festival. We saw Mao's Last Dancer, Julie and Julia and Charlie and Boots. For lunch we had a quick sandwich and coffee out of the picnic basket in the cinema carpark. Afternoon tea was included at the movies as a fundraiser, so we had a quick and easy dinner....frozen hash browns and prawns with salad.

DINNER: Butternut Pumpkin filled with Chicken and Mushroom Macaroni. To make this dish, I firstly halved the pumpkin, scooped out the seeds, added chopped capsicum and garlic with olive oil and baked it till soft. While it was baking, I cooked the chicken and mushroom creamy sauce and the macaroni. The cooked macaroni and sauce was spooned into the pumpkin with cheese on the top.

DINNER: Chicken kebabs with rice and peas, tomato and banana slices.
Today I did the next step for the mulberry wine. Unfortunately the photo is sideways...I didn't rotate it on the other computer, and the disc is a read only file.
Glenn and Margaret came today. They were in Coffs celebrating their 29th anniversary. I made 6 cup slice for afternoon tea, and Roast boned lamb and roasted veges (Mediterranean style) for dinner.
