Days 265 to 275

On Thursday we had 1/2 baked marinated chicken with baked potatoes, sour cream and salad.
The next day was my birthday.
Dave surprised me with lunch upstairs at the pub at South Grafton.
Flowers were waiting on the table.

That night, Tessa and John paid a surprise visit, and cooked dinner as well! John cooked the main course...steaks on bed of pumpkin, spinack leaves, pine nuts, grapes, with red wine jus.
Tessa bakes the beautiful chocolate birthday cake! Yum!
On saturday we had BBQ steaks with salad for lunch with Tessa and John.
For dinner we had eggs benedict and salad on toast.

Today we celebrated putting kent Street on the rental market.
Along with bottle of Moet we were given by Ray White on the purchase of the house,
we had marinated Greek-style buttereflied lamb on BBQ with roasted veges.

Tuesday night we had salmon and vegetables with penne pasta.

For mainly Music I made a banana coconut cake...
.recipe from "Like Grandma used to make".

On Thursday we had home-made pizza, with mango chutney, grilled eggplant, left-over potato, sauted onion, capsicum and pumpkin, roast lamb slices, olives, cheese,
and guacamole and sour cream to top it off.

On Thursday we had a couple of shed packs for dinner, as I was late home
after a car service in Lismore.
On Friday we had battered pearl perch fillets with salad.
Fresh mango in the salad was yummy...
we has lots of mangoes this year for a change.
Today I harvested lots of chillies from our backyard.
I put them on a tray in the oven at a very low temp,
with a wooden spoon keeping the oven door ajar,
for a few hours until they were crisp.
The dried chillies were then ground and put into jars.
I use them frequently in various dishes,
plus in a shaker to add a hot touch to a finished meal.
For dinner we had marinated chicken cutlets with cous cous.

Sunday night we had left-overs of Tapas sausages with salad and shed pack.
