Today we went to the movies at Yamba, and had our own mini film festival. We saw Mao's Last Dancer, Julie and Julia and Charlie and Boots. For lunch we had a quick sandwich and coffee out of the picnic basket in the cinema carpark. Afternoon tea was included at the movies as a fundraiser, so we had a quick and easy dinner....frozen hash browns and prawns with salad.

Day 92
DINNER: Butternut Pumpkin filled with Chicken and Mushroom Macaroni. To make this dish, I firstly halved the pumpkin, scooped out the seeds, added chopped capsicum and garlic with olive oil and baked it till soft. While it was baking, I cooked the chicken and mushroom creamy sauce and the macaroni. The cooked macaroni and sauce was spooned into the pumpkin with cheese on the top.
Day 90
Day 88 and 89
DINNER: Chicken kebabs with rice and peas, tomato and banana slices.
Today I did the next step for the mulberry wine. Unfortunately the photo is sideways...I didn't rotate it on the other computer, and the disc is a read only file.
Glenn and Margaret came today. They were in Coffs celebrating their 29th anniversary. I made 6 cup slice for afternoon tea, and Roast boned lamb and roasted veges (Mediterranean style) for dinner.
Day 87
Day 86
Today I started making mulberry wine using the bucketful of mulberrries I picked at Wally. The recipe came from "Home made Wines and Drinks", p.25.
DINNER: Rissoles and veges. I mixed the onion, mint, parsley, coriander, home-made tomato sauce in the blender, then added to the mince along with some breadcrumbs...they were then shallow-fried in olive oil. The veges were mashed potato and sweet potato with chives and mint, plus broccoli, broad beans and zucchini.
