Day 86

Today I started making mulberry wine using the bucketful of mulberrries I picked at Wally. The recipe came from "Home made Wines and Drinks", p.25.

DINNER: Rissoles and veges. I mixed the onion, mint, parsley, coriander, home-made tomato sauce in the blender, then added to the mince along with some breadcrumbs...they were then shallow-fried in olive oil. The veges were mashed potato and sweet potato with chives and mint, plus broccoli, broad beans and zucchini.

Day 85

DINNER: Fish pieces with green salad, asparagus and pull-apart bread.

Day 84

DINNER: Baked potato with sour cream, fried onions, bacon, eggs, tomato and avocado.
Dessert- mulberry cobbler with cream.

Day 83

Today we went for a drive up to Stanthorpe and checked out a couple of antique shops. We had yummy pies for lunch at Vincenzo's at Stanthorpe.

DINNER: Salmon pasta bake with roasted vegetables.

Day 82

For lunch we bought foccacia from Hanks, with chicken, avocado, cranberry and salad, on our way up to Wally with Bryan, Kathy and Joe.

DINNER: Roast lamb with rosemary, garlic and lemon, with baked potatoes, kumara, snow peas (Bryan grew them!) and gravy. For dessert we had mulberry cobbler with custard. The mulberries were picked at Wally.

Day 81

LUNCH: Prawns and salad rolls.

DINNER: Baked salmon with cous cous....Salmon was baked in foil....the cous cous had spinach, parsley, tomato, olive oil, Moroccan seasoning, sultanas and flaked almonds.

Day 78, 79 and 80

DINNER: T-bones on BBQ with mashed potato and kumara, broad beans and zucchini.
The next night we had dinner at Victoria's following the auction for Kent Street.
The following day, Bryan and Kathy arrived to spend a few days. We had Boscaiola with chicken, mushrooms, bacon and fettuccine.
I don't seem to have any photos for these days!
